AUDITION for The Screwtape Letters

Did the devil make you do it? Before “The Good Place”, C.S. Lewis wrote The Screwtape Letters. Step into Hell’s bureaucracy, as demons’ tempt human weakness where the stakes are high.

A senior devil from hell, is delegated some authority to a junior fiends, whose assignment is to seize the soul of a very loveable human. The rather charming Wormwood is being critically supervised in this, his first case, by the extraordinary devil, Screwtape. Advice from this old hand from hell is devastatingly perceptive of human foibles and, our young protagonist is cluelessly in terrible danger. With a dazzling resolution, we all learn something important about hell, heaven, religion and humanity. It’s eat-or-be-eaten in this sinfully delicious, fiendish comedy of dramatic proportions.
