LATTE Broadens Horizons, Empowers High School & College Students with Expanded Program
After 16 years of fostering creativity, leadership, and a vibrant community among young talent, LATTE (Leading with Arts Through Theater Education) is excited to announce an expansion of its program, setting its sights toward high school and college-aged studens! This exciting shift builds upon a legacy of success, where each LATTE alumnus has illuminated our community, achieving greatness both on and off the stage.
LATTE has been a springboard for teen personal and professional development, equipping youth with crucial acting, movement, and leadership skills for the future. Now, the opportunity to thrive extends to a wider age range, offering high schoolers AND college students the same foundation in leadership, healing, and career preparation essential for their future professions. This natural evolution sprung from LATTE’s college internships and returning LATTEers who came back from college. Now, we offer this for all college students who are accepted into the program, free!
“The impact LATTE has had on its alumni, witnessing their tremendous growth and accomplishments, is a source of great pride,” according to Felicia Pfluger. “This expansion represents a natural evolution, allowing connection with a new generation of aspiring young artists and leaders, guiding them toward fulfilling careers and vibrant lives.”
The expanded LATTE program offers a dynamic and engaging experience. It fosters a supportive environment where students can hone their talents, build confidence, learn the Pfluger Empathy Movement Method, and cultivate valuable life skills. Students will explore acting techniques, movement, and critical thinking, while forging connections and creating lasting memories, staying true to the mission of LATTE to Engage, Empower, Entertain, and Educate!
